What we’re doing here on AnyoneCanCoach is skill building!
You take a skill you want – and go after it.
It’s scary at first. Breaking it down into steps is useful.
For example, such as creating a YouTube. I did that in “reading” mode for a while. Lots of practicing with that.
Now I’m daring to look at the webcam camera and talk. It’s a totally different skill. I’ve chosen that as one of the things I need to be able to get good at. Right now I’m in the mode of doing what I need to be able to do — but just barely. As in badly! Yet I’m improving.
Or you can see it in this post:

I just watched your most recent video.
I agree that being objective about where you are in a particular skill development is important.
But I wanted to encourage you that your video skills have already gotten you further than you give yourself credit for.
I’ve watched plenty of videos. Yours was not off-putting in any way.
So keep up the good repetition, and thanks for being active in this forum.
Please feel free to request a connection on AnyoneCanCoach.

Delighted you made time for watching my video.
I see we’re already ‘friended’ here on AnyoneCanCoach 🙂

Getting outside of one’s comfort zone is how we grow. Looks like you are really interested in growing, Cynthia. Keep up the good work!
