Are you struggling to maintain a balanced life, but sometimes don’t know where to begin?
Do you sometimes feel like you are constantly bombarded by your own negative thoughts and limiting beliefs?
Do you struggle with your goals or priorities?
Do you sometimes feel stuck and frustrated because you have not been able to get consistent results in your life?
If you have answered yes to any of these questions, well my friend, a life coach can be of significant help to you.
What is Life Coaching?
The term coaching was first used in the 1830s in Oxford University slang and its meaning since then has not changed.
Typically, coaching is a process which focuses on taking people from where they are now, to their desired state.
Thus, life coaching focuses on taking the client on a journey from where they are, to where they want to be in a particular area or areas of their life.
Paul Meyer, creator of Success Motivation Institute and one of the originators of Life Coaching, presented eight key life areas in his wheel of life. This includes: business and career; finance; health; family and friends; romance; personal development; fun and recreation and contribution to society. Life Coaches utilize this wheel of life concept, to help individuals find balance in their life, so that they can live a happier and more successful life.
As a matter of fact, life coaches have many tools in their coaching toolkit to help clients solve various problems. It all depends on the nature of the problem and the desired life goals.
So, if you struggle with a goal in any of these life areas, then a life coach can help you.
For example, life coaches work with persons to help them rekindle their marriage; stick to a daily exercise routine; change a career; get clarity on business or personal goals; achieve work/life balance; overcome limiting beliefs, negative self-talk and unhelpful thoughts or foster stronger self-confidence and self-esteem.
The benefits of solving these various life problems are priceless.
Wouldn’t you agree that you will feel much happier and more fulfilled if you could restore balance to your life?
Do you think that you will achieve greater success at your life goals if you had the tools to overcome limiting beliefs, unhelpful thoughts and negative self-talk?
Perhaps, you’ve tried to solve your problems on your own, but for some reason, you have not been able to get consistent results.
Well, a life coach can provide you with the accountability that you need to get your desired results. All that is required of you is open communication, mutual relationship of trust and respect, and to do the necessary work that will get you to your desired state.
A Life Coach is not a counsellor or therapist. So, none of the sessions are focused on analyzing your past experiences.
A Life Coach works with you, based on an inherent belief, that you can achieve anything if you work hard and put your mind to it. You have to be coachable, willing to do the given work and committed to the process. Only then will you achieve transformation in your life.
I describe myself as a motivational life coach because I believe that persons will have even greater success through empowerment.
Empowerment typically refers to the process by which someone is able to take control of a situation or their life as a whole, through heightened confidence and strength.
So, I work with people to help them:
* achieve clarity on their business, professional or personal goals
*feel more empowered for personal success
*overcome obstacles and challenges
*adopt a winning mindset
*understand their self-concept (core values, core beliefs, strengths, areas for development)
*live a life of gratitude and meaning
*discover what motivates them and the list goes on…
I love Life Coaching because it is extremely rewarding to see clients become empowered, motivated and ready for success!
It is amazing to see how an individual exhumes confidence, when they’ve come to understand their full potential and the power of their self-concept.
I find it deeply satisfying to see clients happier, more fulfilled and thankful about their life.
